Dancing
in the Shadow of Tyranny,
An Activist's Guide to Inner Disarmament
1.
THE NEW CHIVALRY
This
is about the code of chivalry and how that applies today to our
world. The strengthening of our future harmony on Earth through
extolling of virtues that brings the noblest human experiences
possible. What those virtues are and what they have always been.
How to know a true code and a false. How to work with others in
cultivating a code for future survival of life on Earth.
2.
AWAKENING FROM TYRANNY
Begining
in March 2003 I began to have an accelerated personal growth experience.
Influenced by the communication breakdowns happening in my most
important relationships, I had to wrestle inside myself for clarity.
Then the bombing of Iraq began. My peace activist nature was challenged
to the max and I began to write about what was happening to me
as I processed all my feelings. I address my past experiences
about tyranny and anger and what is happening on planet Earth
today.
3.
EVOLUTION: WITHIN YOU AND WITHOUT YOU
Understanding
about evolution and Life is understanding ourselves. Buckminster
Fuller, Tielhard de Chardin, drugs, bottled water, coal, oil,
Hopi, digital communications, Internet, war in Iraq, the Project
for a New American Century (the military-industrial-oil complex's
"Mien Kampf"). What is the big picture, not just our
personal melodramas but both "as above so below"?
4.
A SHORT HISTORY OF HUMAN TYRANNY
Where
does the bully impulse come from? Why do humans oppress and murder
each other? How does the impulse manifest in our communication
and behavior our political history. Kings, the Roman Catholic
Church, the Industrial Revolution, the Dupont family, discovery
of oil and the internal combustion engine, state-of-the-art technological
war. All with authoritarian control just like our family lives,
male privilege control.
5.
POWER
What
is "power"? Gary Zukav defines "authentic power"
as internal, "external power" being very temporary and
limited. What is "Love"? What is "fear"? What
is "energy"? How do we relate to power, what are our
personal experiences with power? The "forcing current"
is a term coined by Eva Pierrakos in her Pathwork Guide lectures.
How do we humans use this forcing current? How does our media
present power to us in movies, how do heroes act? Non-violent
communication models of Marshall B. Rosenberg. Inner child - inner
tyrant, the unconscious bully. What was the power of Ramana Maharshi?
And finally the ultimate power, Omnipresence and the power of
change.
6.
THE JUDGE
Judgment
and anger and tyranny go together hand in hand. My personal experiences
with these are why i believe productive relationships are possible
only when the the reins of power are not held by these forces
of judgment. How to free ourselves of this tyranny. What is our
attitude toward getting what we want or not getting what we want?
Intimacy, communication and the judge. What works and doesn't
work anymore? the U.N. Declaration of Human Rights. My own personal
judgements.
7.
BETWEEN DA FENCE, DA WALL, AND DA NILE
Defences
and walls and denial all have one thing in common, I explore this
commoness within us and describe how the Rock Opera "The
Wall" relates to our current world situation. Where, when,
why and how this wall inside humanity can be dismantled in our
own lives.
8.
GROWING UP
Maya,
the illusion, the "conditioned" experience. Self-awareness,
the unfolding experience of consciousness. My personal experiences
with my bullies. The "parent" culture. Growing up under
the tyranny of immanent world destruction. Humanity is evolution
waking up as 6.5 billion people, going downhill in a vehicle out
of control with no one in the driver's seat. Sex and the difference
btween male and female. My lilac bush mother and "mom".
9. SEX, LOVE, ANGER AND TRUTH
Sex and sexual identity and orgasm and everything that comes to
mind when the word "sex" is used is not "sex".
"Sex" is how the universe is run. It is how we got here
and anything else gets here. Sex and war and growing up discovering
what is real about either. And Love, what does love have to do
with it? Tantra. Tantra? Tantra! The human quest for fusion. Trust
is the glue, truth must be sought and anger must be released -
carefully.
10. FREEDOM
How
do we free ourselves of the inner and outer tyranny? What is freedom
really? How can we evolve politically without war? How free do
we allow our dear ones to be? Freedom from terrorism, the bully
inside and outside: fear.
